I don't know if the blog will last much longer, but while I'm still amped up about '09, and thinking about '10, I wanted to get my thoughts out for next year.
1. Possible relocation to deeper in the Grove. We had a pretty good location for getting around and easy access, but not quite the night life we were hoping for. We have a standing invitation from Yepper's to move to the 14th St Bridge, provided we actually come to pick and sing.
2. Tasteful and Classless Song Competition. Mike has challenged us to find new ways to murder old standards. Current suggestions: Cindy Lauper - Time After Time, Bette Midler - Wind Beneath My Wings, Frank Sinatra - One More for the Road.
3. Running Song List. I think we are all for more practice time. Maybe that can be the ongoing purpose of the '09 blog.

I vote for moving closer to 14th street, but staying in the general vicinity of north of 14th - just closer to the grove, but not merge camps. I like our autonomy. Maybe I'll feel different after a year of practicing bluegrass licks (instead of religious standards).
