Talking to Dad on the phone... he drove past the fairgrounds recently & said that from the grandstand east (towards the ball fields & horse barns) looks pretty busy with campers lined up for land rush. The walnut grove is empty as they prep for the festival, putting up fences, etc.
By Wenesday after the K&O Steam Show there were quite a few people already set up.
Dad will try to take a picture the next time he's in Winfield.
